Deactivated bomb at "Kalemegdan"

At the parking lot "Kalemegdan" today around 13:30 pm, a special police unit defused an explosive device planted under the jeep which had Russian license plates.

Shortly before 13:00 pm, the owner of the Mazda Jeep, reported to the police that under his car is unknown explosive device. Soon after CEO of PUC „ Parking Servis“ Andrija Čupković , came at the scene, and said that place was immediately evacuated, thanks to the quick response of police and workers of „Parking Servis“.

" The most important thing is that the workers of „Parking Servis“ and „Belgrade Zoo“ immediately evacuated citizens by providing space around the entrance to the Zoo and amusement park Kalemegdan, so that the security of citizens and children was not threatened ," said Čupković.
