Electronic building permit

The first electronic building permit has been issued by the City authority of Belgrade for reconstruction and upgrade of the garage “Obilicev venac”. Electronic building permit has been issued to the investor - the city of Belgrade and for the needs of PUC “Parking servis”

<p style="text-align: justify;"The mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali pointed out that garage “Obilicev venac” was built in the 1975, and since then, there hasn’t been any significant investment, considering the long period of time.

During the upcoming period the garage will be reconstructed which will provide additional parking spaces in the very centre of Belgrade. As a part of reconstruction the capacity of garage will be increased to 809 parking spaces, which will additionally lower the traffic jams in the prime area of the city. The construction work will include reconstruction of the facade, which will minimize future structural issues, and besides safety, adding a new visual appearance to the downtown, which will soon become a pedestrian area. Also, at the rooftop of the garage solar panels will be installed which will provide electricity to the indoor area of the garage. For the first time, in Belgrade’s garages, there will be special parking spaces with chargers for electric cars and an elevator for customers.
