Incident at car park in front of National assembly house

An unidentified person has attacked a JKP ‘Parking Servis’ parking attendant inflicting serious body injuries on her and shouting numerous offences and curses at her. A colleague who rushed to her help was also attacked.

‘Parking Servis’ employees have been brutally attacked during their regular duty at the car park in front of National assembly house without any cause. As the parking attendant let the attacker know there were no free parking places he stepped out of the car and started to hit and offend her.

The attacker left the scene in a red ‘Yugo’ with Belgrade registration plates, which was driven by another person. Before driving away he managed to grab our colleague’s mobile phone and destroy it, threatening that he would kill them if they report the case to the police. The female parking attendant kept her mobile phone and called for help.

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ energetically condemns the attack at its employees. The process of identification is underway and the police are on the track of the perpetrators. Republic of Serbia’s penal code includes a prison sentence for inflicting bodily harm.

JKP ‘Parking Servis’ will take all legal measures in order to help find the perpetrators and that appropriate sanctions are imposed upon them.
