JKP ‘Parking Servis' at the International Conference on Road Safety

JKP ‘Parking Servis' has presented its campaign ‘Pupils ask you - slow down by the school' at the three-day International Conference on Road Safety. The conference, organized by Agency for Road Safety of Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, announces the beginning of a new decade of campaigns on road safety from 2011 to 2020.

The conference, which is attended by 120 participants from more than 30 countries, was opened by Deputy President of Serbia and Interior Minister Ivica Dačić.

On the first day the participants were able to attend a public lesson, an educational performance on children safety on roads and hear a popular song which is an essential part of the campaign. The children choir ‘Čarolija' was awarded with a thunderous applause and gifts from Agency for road safety.

Miljan Vojinović, the educational campaign manager has addressed the participants:

‘I am glad that the Agency for road safety has recognized the importance of the campaign ‘Pupils ask you - slow down by the school' and made it possible for us to show what we are doing when it comes to children safety on roads. The campaign began in 2007 and 4 generation of first graders have been able to take part in the campaign so far. About 15 000 high visibility vests are given every year which means that we have given away 60 000 vest over the period of 4 years.

All the conference participants were given high visibility vest and a promotional CD of the campaign ‘Pupils ask you - slow down by the school'.
