The largest Fast park

As from today Ada Ciganlija boasts 775 new parking places. JKP ‘Parking Servis’ and JP ‘Ada Ciganlija’ under the auspices of City Council have built Fast park with the capacity of 1669 places at the entrance of this attractive city resort. The sixth and the biggest Fast park in Belgrade has been opened by Zoran Alimpic Deputy Mayor, Bojan Stanojevic City Manager, Zivorad Andjelkovic JKP ‘Parking Servis’ CEO and Predrag Petrovic JP ‘Ada Ciganlija’ general manager.

Fast park u dva nivoa je postavljen za 60 dana, a parking prostor se prostire na 25.000 kvadratnih metara. Uprkos veličini investicije, cena parkiranja ostaje ista - 64,50 dinara po danu, ali će se prilikom naplate građanima iznos zaokruživati na 64.00 dinara.

Fast park in two levels has been assembled in 60 days and parking space spreads at 25 000 m2. Despite the huge investment amount the price of parking remains the same – 64.50 din per day, but the sum will be rounded off at 64 din. The Fast park at Ada Ciganlija has increased number of entrances and exits and in such way one of the biggest problems of this parking place has been solved. Those who find the parking place at the lower (covered) level will be the most pleased with the new car park. By building this Fast park the entry to the Lake has been made easier and the green areas have been given their original purpose – for the visitors’ enjoyment.

Zoran Alimpic Deputy Mayor has emphasized the importance of cooperation of the two successful communal companies ‘Parking Servis’ and ‘Ada Ciganlija’ which result can be seen in two exceptional multi-level, prefabricated parking spaces, so much needed in Ada and the City. - ‘From now on Belgrade citizens and our guests will be able to park their cars in front of Ada and thus enjoy beauties of this place. The interesting thing is that this Fast park can be used for Belgrade Fair needs. This possibility has been put in practice for the first time this year during the Civil Engineering Fair and it turned out to be an excellent solution.’

Bojan Stanojevic, City manager said: - ‘This is just one step in solving parking problems in Belgrade. During the following 4 years ‘Parking Servis’ will in cooperation with the private sector build over 20 underground garages in the central city zone.

Zivorad Andjelkovic, JKP ‘Parking Servis’ CEO has pointed out: - ‘We have announced at the press conference that the Fast park will be opened in June but it is opened at the end of April. This effort is to be praised. We have finished a huge project in 60 days. This is practically the biggest Fast park in Europe so far. JP ‘Ada Ciganlija’ general manager Predrag Popovic has expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the popular price of the new Fast park will motivate drivers to park their cars out of Ada. This will make it possible to accomplish the long term plan – disposing of cars from Ada altogether.

‘The price here is 64,50 din and parking at Ada is 200 din’, said Predrag Popovic.

Parking space at Ada Ciganlija has been in use since 1975 and it has a seasonal character. It is intended for the Ada Ciganlija resort users.
