A new car park from 15th March

On Tuesday 15th of March 2011 the new car park ‘Donji Grad' will be launched.

The roof and the background part of ‘Beton Hala' at Sava port have been transformed into a special car park and Belgrade will get new 407 parking places. The new car park will for a short period work in a ‘test-phase' needed to finalize necessary works.

The entrance to the new car park is in Vojvode Bojovica Street and the exit is across the tramway garden in Karadjordjeva Street. Two staircases lead from the car park to the Sava port. The first is located at the entrance and the other in the middle part of the car park. The car park is equipped with an automatic control of entry and collecting payment which provides more efficient flow of traffic. The lift for disabled persons is currently being installed.

The car park ‘Donji Grad' is open non-stop. The price of parking is promotional 50 dinars per hour.

The special offer at this car park is also a monthly subscription for private cars. A daily subscription from 07.00 to 20.30 hours for a month costs 4000 dinars. Night subscription from 17.00 to 08.00 hours, which includes weekends and bank holidays costs 2200 dinars per month and it is planned for the residents and employees of the port. The price for the unlimited use of the car park from 00.00 to 24.00 per month is 6875 din.

A certain number of parking places have been provided for persons with disabilities according to the world standards. As at other JKP ‘Parking Servis' car parks, parking is free of charge for disabled persons for the first three hours.
