Special care about people with disabilities

Today, on International Day of Disabled Persons, Parking Service have put in operation a special lift in Zeleni Venac garage. This lift will enable the drivers with disabilities to access the parking places in the garage. On this occasion Zivorad Andjelkovic the Company's CEO, Djordje Bobic the Chief architect of the City of Belgrade and representatives of several associations of people with disabilities have presented in Zeleni Venac garage to the journalist this and the future projects.

Today, on International Day of Disabled Persons, JKP ‘Parking Servis' parking attendants have been giving Belgrade drivers flyers in which they were reminded that disabled persons have special rights for parking in all the city zones. They were also warned that in case they do not respect these rights they would be fined by a municipality communal inspection.

Last week, JKP ‘Parking Servis' in cooperation with communal inspectors carried out a close inspection of parking places reserved for disabled persons. Of the total number of 265 vehicles which have been removed by order of the communal inspectors of the municipalities Stari grad, Savski venac, Palilula, Vracar, Zvezdara and New Belgrade, no fewer than 144 vehicles were removed from the places reserved for disabled persons.
