Marathon awards

Summing up the impressions of the traditional Belgrade Marathon, the organizers of this prestigious international sport event awarded on 26th May 2011. companies, institutions and individuals who had made their best efforts to make this year's marathon one of the best so far.

The 24th Belgrade Marathon was held on the streets of the capital on 17th April as usual. JKP ‘Parking Servis' had an important role in keeping the marathon track clear. On that occasion the company received a Letter of Thanks for its contribution to the organization of the 24th Belgrade Marathon. The Letter was received by Dragan Jahura, the Manager of ‘Parking Servis' Communal Order Service who said that ‘all the city services have been doing their best for years to help organize and manage the Marathon.'

‘Belgrade Marathon is a part of all of us and every year we approach this job with a great degree of importance and efficiency regardless of the experience we have in organizing such events. This year 10 towing trucks have moved away about 200 vehicles within a very short period, and the vehicle owners were able to get the information about their vehicles in our Info Center.'

‘‘Parking Servis' is grateful to its fellow citizens who recognize the importance of such events and kindly meet the organizers' requests. We would also like to say thank you to the City Assembly and the Marathon organizers who praised JKP ‘Parking Servis' for their hard work and efficiency', said Jahura.

Next year sees the 25th Belgrade Marathon and the City authorities are looking forward to organizing it. We hope that the Belgrade citizens will enjoy the special program which will go with the event.
