Talks with Prospective Investors

Representatives of PUE „Parking Service“ Belgrade, Technical Director Vladimir Bogićević and Director for Legal, Personnel and Commercial Affairs Nebojša Perić have departed today to Prague where, between August 27 and 29, they are going to take part in meetings within the Local Leaders Meeting and China Investment Forum organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic, Secretariat for Cooperation of China with Central and Eastern European Countries and Czech-Chinese Chamber of Cooperation.

The purpose of participation of Parking Service in this Forum is to establish contacts with prospective investors and look for options for future cooperation with them on strategic projects of the Enterprise in the field of parking, said Technical Director of „Parking Service“ Vladimir Bogićević before departure to Prague.

„We are going to exchange experience with colleagues from regions of the Central and Eastern Europe, and also to attract prospective investors. We shall discuss favourable methods of funding the construction of underground garages in Belgrade. The City of Belgrade has recently signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development an agreement under which the Bank will fund the technical assistance and thereafter provide a credit for projects of construction of four underground garages through public-private partnership. An international tender will be announced next year. Thereafter, the Bank shall extend a long-term credit to a private partner to be selected in the international tender. Thereafter, we expect to enter into the private-public partnership and that the works should commence as soon as possible,“ said Bogićević.

The chairman of the Organizational Committee J. Tvrdnik called the National Coordinator of the Republic of Serbia for Cooperation with China and China Investment Forum to take part in these meetings. The delegation of our country is headed by Andreja Mladenović, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, and to the Local Leaders Meeting were invited also all the delegations from Central and Eastern European countries, while for participation in China Investment Forum are applied also economic delegations of each Central and Eastern European countries.
