4th season of the campaign ‘Pupils ask you - slow down by the school' ends

At the gala event attended by the first graders of the elementary school ‘Mihajlo Petrović Alas' and children choir Čarolija, JKP ‘Parking Servis' CEO Boban Kovačević thanked everyone for their help and cooperation in the campaign ‘Pupils ask you - slow down by the school.

Boban Kovačević stressed the importance of children's safety in traffic, which was the reason why JKP ‘Parking Servis' started this campaign which was wholeheartedly supported by City of Belgrade, Traffic Police Department and the media without whose help the campaign would have no effect.

The aim of the campaign ‘Pupils ask you - slow down by the school' is that the first graders of Belgrade elementary schools obtain the basic knowledge about conduct in traffic. With their safety in view every year we give away high visibility vests. This school term 16 202 pupils have got their vests.

In the City Hall the most creative works of art, which children have been sending during the year for the competition ‘Let's give zebra the name', were exhibited. The pupils have been suggesting an array of names: Zebra Zebrić, Zebrinko Brinić, Ziki, Prugica Prugić, Coka Saobraćajac, Zebra Tebra, Zebra Spasa, Šarenko, Smeško, Zebrana and others. The competition ‘Let's give zebra the name' has ended and the school which suggested the best name will receive a valuable award in September 2011.
